A Time to Work, A Time to Rest

Yesterday's highs:

  • I visited a new church that was suuuuuper welcoming. As in, people kept pulling other people over to meet me. And before I left, the yound adult minister introduced himself to me.
  • The church had a potluck! How lucky can I get?!
  • Played football in the park with a few friends. I've never done this before, only played football in PE class really. We played tackle and I'm quite proud to say I brought down everyone on the field (even my "bro" and my 6'2'' friend)  Yeahhh...it was cool to somehow be the most athletic one playing.
  • Made a puzzle with two housemates. I love puzzles. Always have. It was a very popular activity in my highschool dorm. This one was easy, only 500 pieces, so we already finished it.
Today's forecast:
  • getting a free flu shot. Yippee! Free = happy. Not getting the flu like I did every year of my childhood = ecstatic.
  • heading to the volunteer retreat for a few days. So, no work!!
I'll be offline until Wednesday probably :)
